Protein Industries Canada welcomes new board member David Donnan

On September 14, 2022 at the Annual General Meeting, Protein Industries Canada welcomed David Donnan to the organization’s Board of Directors.
A business leader and consultant with significant global experience in the agriculture, food and retail industries, David has run operating companies, managed food plants and consulted leading global retail and consumer product companies in technology, growth and supply chain strategies.
At present, David is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University teaching in the Masters of Science in Energy and Sustainability program on the Future of Food and Agriculture. He also enjoys membership on several boards, among them Naturally Chicago, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Rubicon Organics, the Institute of Food Technologists … and now Protein Industries Canada.
David has a BASc in Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Rotman School – also at the U of T. A dual USA/Canadian citizen, David lives in Chicago, Illinois and Canmore, Alberta.
And, re-elected to the Protein Industries Canada Board of Directors are:
- David Dzisiak, Chief Operating Officer, Botaneco Inc., Calgary Alberta
- Tyler Groeneveld, Commercial Grains and Oils Leader for North America; member of Corteva's Canadian Leadership Team
- Murad Al-Katib, President and CEO of AGT Food and Ingredients Inc.
